So, while we're on the subject. Hows the leg room for the back seat in a 2000+ compared to the 97-99 models? They look like it'* a little tighter back there in pics I've seen.

I too like the looks of my 99 over a 2000+, and I'm NOT saying that because I own one. I decided that BEFORE I bought my Bonne. But I understand we all have our tastes that differ, this would be a boring place if EVERYONE had my Green 99 SE.

Absolutely PITIFUL! The car feels so cramped both in the front and back.

I've owned both, driven both, and my preference stands ==> I miss my '95

the back seat area isn't the best. but then again what car does have a roomy back
seat area now a days. (for adults that is)
as for the front. it is a bit narrower than my old 97.
but I believe that is only in the door panel area where my knee rest'*

i have been wrestling with get newer car just becuase 92. Inital it was money issue that held me back in the end. It comes to I love my car has never failed to start once. I would miss old blue to much. Even thought about selling to my brother, but couldn't because I knew he would take care if it like I do. I have rdriven newer bonneville can't say as Iike power curve on it. New cars seem to have power up high mine seems make most of torque at lower speeds ,not that I have ever had problem passing people 80 mph.

I'm also in the camp that the 92-99s look better. Not that the 00+'* ain't nice, but.... All 00+ Pontiacs look too much alike to me. It'* almost like they resized the same mold and gave 'em different names.
i will agree with you on the first count, but those cars PRE- 00 are just the EPITOME of a large GRANDMA'* LAND YACHT!

I love my 01 SSEi, but I was looking at some of the others on here and I think when I decide to get another it will be a 96-99 SSEi. Besides all the colors on the 96-99'* look great but only a few look good on the 00+'*. I think next to the 00+'* that the next best looking are the 96-99'*, and I had a 92 SE. "JMO".

As far as auto leveling I had that in my 85 Buick LeSabre Estate Wagon. Not to impressed with it anyway.

I also had a crapload of water leaks from the same place for almost a year.

Thanks for the info,

I like the 00+ SLE and SSEi in Pewter with the cross lace 18inch factory wheels. The dash at night it killer in a 00+ car, I love my 94 SSE dash however the 00+ looks like a Jet fighter waiting to take off.

I hate the cheap side moldings, I like the clean look of the GXP? the front end also will take some getting used to. Just thinking right now.
whenever I get in my Bonne though man is it comfy and roomy and good dash layout, the steering wheels stick out to far which I could push it in about 4-6 inches.
Most importantly that car is reliable and cheap to fix. $25 water pump, $90 alternator and plenty of room to work on it as well.

MOS95B, I agree, there is more room in the 92-99. One thing I do not like on the 00+ is the steep inward rake of the "A" pillars. It seems like the front part of the roof is closing in on you. I miss the false wing vents also.
