Default 2000+ Bonnevilles much better than 92-99?

As Im getting ready to sell my 94 SSE, I was thinking of giving my LS to my wife and getting a older 00-01 Bonneville SLE dont want a SSEi due to insurance and poorer fuel economy. SLE is basically the same as SSE of the old model meaning all the toys except blower.

Im assuming the ride and handling are way better due to new chasis, the powertrain is the same so no worries there. Is the suspension carry over as well or new from the ground up?

00'* seem to have more non-drivetrain related mechanical issues. And SSEi'* get the same mileage as L36'*, sometimes better.

I couldn't say it better if I tried, they are high in most parts of Indiana, unless...... well unless you don't mind high miles with a high end dollar tag :( speaking of SLE and SSEi the SE has HORRIBLE resale value :? like anywhere else you can get a SE with low miles for a low price...... go figure,

00+ Bonnes are vastly different than previous class 92-99. On the 00+, electronics have been upgraded, they all have auto-leveling, more aluminium was used etc. It seems like some areas they cut corners on the quality of materials also. I wouldn't say anything is much better or worse. There are design features on the 92-99'* that have advantage over the 00+ and vice versa. Personally, I think the 92-99 were better built cars in alot of respects outside of the drivetrains which are virtually the same all through.
