Yes i would go affter the person for More money for the Pain and stuff.

Cuz yo dont know if your going to have long term problems from this also.

Look at it this way, If you hit someone else most likely they would be trying to get money out of you for it also.

I hate to sound Mean or Money hungry.. but its in todays world where everyone sues everyone else for dumb ****, I would 100% sue someone if that happened to me.

Wow, the dealer is replacing tails due to delam? Looks like they're trying to milk the insurance company?

That'* a fair amount of damage, though still not bad for a car that hit you at that speed.

I caused $2600 in damage at < 10mph. Definitely not cheap to fix any kind of body damage.

I just put in all of what your estimate says onto ultramate. It'* a bodyshop estimation program that I use at work. The price they gave you is different from mine by $5.00, so they are right on with the price. Do what willwren says, deny it, wait a bit, but not to long, call them if you dont hear from them and say look, give me $3,100 and we will call it a day.

Not knowing your entire financial state... I wouldn't spend much more on a new car. Sure it'* nice and all, but what sort of costs are possible from your leg?

Obviously get what'* needed for reparation for your back/car though.

Yeah, until I start working again a new car is out of the picture.

I'm heading to a back doc tomorrow to have him check it out, hey its free...why not...

I'm sure my car can be fixed to near perfect for $1000 if I do the labor. Its had far too much money put into it to get rid of it.

Hans, Wait until you get a really high, good offer, why should YOU have to fix the car yourself?!
Let a body shop take care of that, thats what they specialize in.
Trust me, you can get alot more.

Here are the new estimates, $3597 was the other pontiac dealership. Odd.

Its going to be hard to get that much out of them and still not have a salvage title I think. The car is worth right around $3500 I think.

and here are the 3rd party shops I went to:

UPDATE: just got back from a chiropracter and my back feels one hell of a lot better.
