Default No Nine Lives!

Well, we only have one life to live. I got a fast car to drive fast when I want to. Too bad there are dumb people in this world who are influenced by others actions or stories instead of acting on their own will and best judgement. Thats life nowadays!

I know when I first joined this forum the kills stories section was actually one of the mildest ones i had seen. It gradually got worse and worse and most of the stuff was OBVIOUS BS, and there was so much flaming going on it was just stupid. It also seemed like it was the same people causing the problems most of the time (and I will admit that sometimes it was me, but mostly becuase I don't just sit there and listen to obvious BS and not do anything about it). When they first removed the kill stories section I thought it was stupid, and I was pretty mad...however now I understand 100% why they did it, and I agree with it. There is no need for something like that on a forum. Forums are a place to learn about your car and share with others what you have learned, and ask opinions on things...not for talking about racing people on the street and breaking 20 laws in doing so...which in turn provokes others to do the same thing.

In the 8 months I have been driving a car I have quickly learned that that type of thing is just stupid, and its even stupider to brag about it. I got lucky and missed getting in stupid amounts of trouble from some of the things I have done...not to mention I have had about 5 too many close calls...I like my car and I like it to not be in a ditch, in the side of a tree, or in the front/side/rear of someone elses car. Don't get me wrong I like driving fast/aggressively as much as anyone else, but there is a limit, and I have decided not to break that limit anymore.

Man, I agree. But this isn't and won't be the first time where one or a few ruined it for the majority. :(

I know I've only been back for a little while, but I don't seem to see the problem-causers even here anymore? Have they gone? Kill Stories never had a problems before these "new" members joined, and now they're gone....

Yup...that seems to be all they were ever here for. Its almost like you could start a kill stories section again and not have problems, but the same thing would just happen again. They would all come back, or new ones doing the same thing would come and all of the same problems would arise again. Not to mention, Kill Stories really aren't good for anything on a Forum IMO except bragging. I did kinda notice when they were around that all they ever did was post in kill stories and the lounge...and the occasional racing story that they would post in the middle of another post about someone trying to make their car faster.
