Default Street/highway Stories

I read the posts on the "kill stories," and I agree with a lot of the comments. I am 25yrs old and I have friends from 25 to 45yrs of age. We talk about stories all the time whether it is a traffic light to traffic light or quick highway sprint. I think it is harmless chat like fishing stories or sex stories. Racing and speeding on public roads is illegal no matter what the speeds and situations are, but who has not done either? I've been on other forums that allow it and others that do not. It can be fun and educating because you find out about the cars' limitations. Some guys reveal their true ignorance to car knowlege and some educate you. The Performance forum suits just fine. Guys who like to tell these stories are not lifeless. Instead, they are just everyone else posting here. They want to be heard either to educate, inquire or simply chat. Its all harmless. This is why car chat sites are good. They are outlets for married guys like myself. Thats my 2 cents. Thanks! :P

Anyone I date talks about sex stories, i deck em :P

Seriously, the kill stories forum was a pain in the rump for the mods and admins of this site. Too much flaming going on, and WAY too many unrealistic and/or illegal stories.

This has been stated before and I'll say it again: I want kill stories to STAY gone for the reasons above, and I know I'm not alone. However, you aren't either. There are other forums that welcome racing stories, however, this forum ISN'T one, and we ask members to respect that. Thank you.

You weren't here when it was good. Some good fiction (and it was on purpose) was great.

Go watch a movie. That should suite your needs.

We'll probably get more kill stories soon, once the racoons figure out where Will lives...

LOL... MOS... priceless.....

As for my 2cents on "Kill Stories".
I do agree I do miss them. I mean some of them were true, some fictional... but either case they were all just stories.... and some people took them too seriously and ruined it for the rest of us.

Besides, whether we like to admit it or not, reading the stories made SOME of us feel like we have to challange the person in the riced civic next to use at the red light... or see who was faster on the highway. Then they'd race home and post their "kill" on the BC.

I'd like to think we are above that, that the class of car we drive reflects on the class of the owner. For that reason, I do agree with the admins decision to remove "Kill Stories".
