How about stories of extreme frustration...
I've got one.
Tonight my husband and I were leaving our apartment to visit his parents, and we were in a hurry (funny...since we got our Bonneville we always seem to be in a hurry ). Anyway, we were at a light behind a beat-up Toyota Celica, and they took off soooooo slowly. Naturally we got in the right lane (two lanes one way...nothing illegal here) and began to pass (not blowing by them, just enough to cruise by).
What did they do? They sped up! A bunch of dumb*ss teenagers (no offense to any of the younger people here) who just couldn't stand to let us pass.
Well, we would have blown their doors off...and here'* the frustrating part...but just as we accelerated a truck pulled out in front of us forcing us to slam on the brakes and let these punks go.
My only consolation is that soon after we hit the brakes, a cop pulled out behind us from a side street and followed us to the edge of the city (I'm sure he would have pulled us over if we had gotten by the Celica, but he really had no reason as it happened).
I just hate it when people do that (drive like they're 65 and then speed up when you try to pass), and I hate it even more when they get to think they won!

I had a similar experiance I raced a 2002 Avalanche that had like 5 , 16-17 yr olds in it. I was with my Best Friend and the people in the Av were like trying to taunt me because they think I drive a slow car. Anyways we are driving side by side and I blow them away by just mashing the gas in second and throwing it into drive. When all of a sudden *beep* goes my radar detector I slow down and they go by pointing and laughing at me. Then seconds later they get pulled over and Im passing them laughing. This was hard to let them pass me but it was really funny watching their faces when I passed along side

I only wish I had gotten to see the same thing tonight...seeing them getting pulled over would have made it all better.
Actually, my husband should be careful what he does around 16-18 year olds anyway (especially moderately illegal things ) because he is a teacher (10th and 11th grade). You'd be amazed at how often we run into his students.

Are you kidding? They think he'* about 100 years old (exaggeration, but only a little) and can't imagine why he has such a hot car (and they do love it too; when he first got it they spent class time talking about how fast it was).
I guess the young generation is growing up right!

Actually, very few recognize it for what it is. Most kids aren't anywhere knowledgeable enough to actually know what they're talking about...Mustangs, Corvettes, and such catch the attention, and so they discuss those. God forbid they do some research to find out.
On occasion, there'* a student who'* had a chance to sit in it or see it up-close...(usually when I've forgotten my coffee in the car and they need to run outside...)They get more appreciative at that point...something about thousands of buttons and a digital display does that to people.
Occasionally I'll hear "Have you seen his car?? He'* got a wicked sweet car..." and I'll just inside.

I can name off so many people that I know that drive like the ******* teens in these stories. I try to act more adult like when I drive around, and not intentionally **** off other drivers. I'm 17, so a lot of people on the road think that I am always up to some trouble. I only am a jerk when someone cuts me off, or taunts me like some teens do.

We don't need to be doormats, but I do wish more people would be polite.
