Remember. He'* a Chebby boy now. And as we all know, Chebby'* don't make power in any way! Just playing of course. He gots that 4.3L in his truck and he wants that other M112 I have so he can try to rebuild it or get it rebuilt and put it on his pickytruck. I can only imagine he'll destroy the 1st and 2nd synchros because they just sound horrific as it is(Note, this truck is a 2005). Back on track anyways. I think I'll be able to pull this swap off for about anudder $700ish(car toon and all). Soooo.... maybe if I omit my trip to Floriduh in April, I could possible make a running Thunderbird Lightning. Of course, much props attibuted to the guys here that have helped me along the way wif the supachawja. I'm sure I'll post a vid of the run at Cordova if'n I can get a way to record it for those who are interested. I know it'* not a GM, but a car is a car!
Can someone translate that for me

So you might not go to Florida in order to finish the project? I dunno..... Florida would be awfully nice!

Well... we all have to have our priorities in line. If Jake sells his car before I get there, you better believe I'm blowing off my Florida trip.

Ok, next question. What is this piece(boost control solenoid?) And isn't it supposed to have two nipples for vacuum lines?

Ok! It'* a Boost Actuator(according to the Lightning guys). I guess it'* sumfin like $200 from the stealership, but fortunately for me, one of them had one up for grabs for fitty buck. So naturally I snagged it. Blitz-Bird moves on!

Yes, that'* a Boost control actuator. And it should have a boost control solonoid attached to it.

One of the nipples is broken off on the one in your pic. And your dealer is a ripoff artist.

Read the link in my sticky at the top of the Forced Induction section. Alot more information has been added. Alot more coming.

Just in! Straight out of a 40k old Lightning F-150. Junkyard engine with boost. Should be fun. They have some very minor scuffs on the skirts, but I will polish off any raised area'* ensure that the edge of the skirts are not ridged, maybe even coat them to put them in a good tolerance. Fun fun fun!

Looks great! Now I bet you're glad you snagged that extra blower with coated rotors. Keep us updated.
