Default bonneville vs. '83 t-bird

i had a measly 3.8 litre 1995 pontiac bonneville. a V6 for cryin' out loud, not to add any insult, but its also front wheel drive. my friend had a sick 1983 ford thunderbird. man its awerome. under the hood lurked a 302 ci 5.0 litre engine. i knew that my P.O.*. bonneville was kind of quick but i didnt think it could hold a torch to a 5.0 litre beast of an engine, especially in a slick car like a thunderbird. we went to a little desolate street in downtown chicago, and decided to race, for slips. one of his friends said go and he just sat there spinnin his tires, with more smoke than LA. i won the race. and i decided that i couldnt drive 2 cars home so i just gave him my P.O.*. bonneville. What an idiot, he took my peice, and i got one of the coolest cars to ever roam the strip. can you believe it? I am so stoked. write me back and tell me more about cool T-birds. thanx.

Let me see if I understand this.....you gave him a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville with the Series 2 3800, and took a POS 5.0 T-bird from 1983? Is it too late to trade back? You got the raw end of the deal. The 5.0 can't hang with the 3800. You just figured that out, but still got the raw end.

hi all, Johnny told me to come onto to this website to discuss my loss a few days ago, I just wanted to let you all know i was "granny shiften', not double-clutching like im supposed too", lol j/k... but i did lose cause i spun the REAR wheels wildly (ya know, RWD, something these POS bonnevilles DONT have). The ONLY cool thing about this sorry excuse for a car is the red instrument panel, ill have ta admit its pretty tite!!! but all of you said that a "3800000000 series 2" could ditch a 5.0? all i have ta say is "whatch you talkin' 'bout Willis!!!" At least it wasn't a total loss...i still got my 87 thunderbird turbo coupe... can your "380000000000 series ii" ditch this.....uh.....no.

hey John if you want your bonnyville back ya better come get it before i dump it in the river, but you cant have the instument panel back...im keepin that!

hey willwren, i could help but notice your 1/4 mile time...15.1....SUPERCHARGED?!?!?!
thats pretty dang slow for a modified supercharged car...looks like yer 3800000 series ii pathetic engine cant do much good even with a supercharger!!! and whered you get that top speed from, did you push it offa cliff and timed the rate of decent? cause that doesnt seem like a bad idea, ill bet you i can get this piece up to 160 MPH off the forest hill bridge in auburn.

The 93 Bonneville SC was a Series 1, Series 2 gained more hp in 1996, but still eats older T-birds for breakfast. I just ate a 95 SC T-bird 2 days ago. Planned kill, I know the guy. He was smart enough to know I'd take him before we ever went out. The beauty of the Bonnie is that I don't sit there like an idiot that doesn't know how to drive, spinning tires! Age and experience will come to you, Junior. Give it time!

BTW, tires make all the difference in the world. Mine were shot, but the new ones just went on today. You better trade that Bonnie back to the original owner, cuz you're not gonna get anything but laughs when you talk about an 83 Turd-Bird here

I think we'll call it quits before we have a flame war Talking trash about Bonnevilles on a Bonneville forum is a sure way to do that. Plain and simple, if you don't like the Bonneville, try to trade him back and enjoy your Fords.

I would believe your hype if you weren’t trying so hard to convince us. LOL picking on Bonneville’* that are not built is not really a feat. Also on this site you will not find inflated stats and r stickers that seem to make the car sooo much faster. Don’t get me wrong I respect the good fords and some of the drivers but you are killing the image and giving ford a bad name. LOL nothing like advertising when you ant to make sure everyone knows what a tool you are.

If this is a joke or not, umm... why. Whatever, who cares. Let'* leave this topic as is and not go into a flame war. We don't like to have moderators hit those funny buttons that appear at the bottom of every page for me do I? :P

This thread is a pretty lame attempt at trolling, if you ask me.
