Dim and low voltage?
How low does the voltage get? And for how long...? Drops to 12v that last for a very brief amount of time is totally normal... The newer cars tend to cycle a bit... And any sudden changes in power demand will cause a brief drop as well..
And you said OEM replacement, so this would be an AC Delco unit?
Also check all connections like mentioned above..

Anyone find anything out on this. My car is doing the exact same thing. It is worse when it is wet out. The voltage will actually drop so low at an idle the car will start missing and die. New battery, alt, and battery cables.

Wow! Please don't dig up old posts. Feel free to start a new thread and link back to this one.
We do this primarily because the information we have learned about a particular problem changes over time. That said, this one being two years old, we've likely found a better fix. Or at least a fix that'* proven to net you better results.
