Default license plate lights - replacement for 2004

ill admit it, im lazy. as a consequence, im wasting your time. for that i apologise. if you feel as if you cant waste your time reading and (optional) responding, then please, dont. i got pulled over a couple night ago for not having license plate lights. i never knew about them, so im guessing theyre burned out. well, how do i replace them? i took a cursory glance earlier today and i didnt see any bulbs, but i saw where i thought bulbs could go. so what kind of bulbs go in there and how do they do in? anyone know right off-hand?

again, im sure its in my owners manual, but i thought if you knew off the top of your head . . .

j, you're going to have to lie down and look up at the 2 license plate light assemblies. Take a 10 mm socket & loosen the light fixtures, remove fasteners then feed light fixtures out through the openings. It'* a pita. That is the only way to do it.
