Default License Plate Light Changing

Ok I wanna change my license plate lights to a green color. That would be perfectly legal right? Its not blue or red so it'* not a color a cop could argue about..what do you guys think? Not a big deal or? Anyone know the "proper" way to pop off the covers to the dome lights in the car so i can put green gel caps on 'em? Thanks

Well it all depends on your State/Provincial Laws! Up here, the cops will leave you alone unless some one complains about it. My buddy'* 2000 Ram 1500 4X4 has green License Lights to match his Green Truck. I think they look cooll! That'* why I changed mine to red!

You can get the colored neon frames that go around the license plate. I have one. I had a blue one last year and green one this year. I don't remember if i posted the pictures on my site or not.

What I did to my interior is probably "illegal" where I live. I quote "illegal" because in my town cops like to pull over anything that has rims/exhaust. Just be cautious, some cops let you go, others are jerks. I got stopped once for putting blackouts on my tail lights, cop pulled me over at night and saw my red stringlights. I forgot they were on! Around here they love busting people for that stuff. Well that was a nice cop, plus I got some connections
