headlights stay on!!!!
94 sse...today i shut my car off and the headlights would not turn off. checked all settings on light switch and they are correct. does anyone have any ideas or know where the LCM is located?
Headlights should be direct IIRC. Being a 94, please pull the headlight switch out and take a look at the connector and wiring. I thought 95 was the only year that liked to melt it'* harness into a blob, but it bears merit to check it out.
I was wondering about that also Bill, whether 94'* had the twighlight.
Here'* the writeup about pulling the headlight switch out...

I've had a similar problem in my '97 lesabre with the twilight. Sometimes when the twilight sentinel turns the lights on, I have to manually turn them off with the push-button switch on the door.
I'll be following this thread before I start pulling apart switches, sensors, modules, fingernails, hair....

yes it has twilight, switch is brand new, with no signs of meltage, new ECM, removed the 50 amp fuse from in the multi fuse block under the hood and headlights went off but parking lights stayed on. pulled the 60 amp fuse next to it and the parking lights went off, reinstalled both fuses and turned the lights on and again they would not shut off. pulled only the LGT fuse and everything works fine but with no parking lights. i then would make connection with the fuse and hear a relay clicking near the windshield behind the glove box, pulled the glove box out and located what i am thinking is the LCM which is impossible to get to without removal of the whole dash.
SO does anyone if that is the correct location of the LCM?
