Default You are Good

I went by the dealership today and talked with the service advisor. He waffled between almost not believing his guy would miss that and talking about how good he is to saying he was sorry they didn't find it. He told me not to lose confidence in his service dept and I said that would be hard to do. I was matter of fact and cordial at the same time to get my point across. I've spent money in that dealerhip anywhere from body work to other issues. You hit the nail on the head when you pointed the problem to that module. You are good!!

Well, I've had the odd glitch with my dealership but overall am very happy. They treat me very well. This sounds like one of those situations where you have to decide if they otherwise take pretty good care of your car. I've dealt with a lot of dealerships that I don't believe should be in business. If you've lost confidence in them you may want to go shopping for another dealership, otherwise you might have to write this one off as an isolated incident.

It'* great that your car is back in shape. If they charged you for the scan, did they offer you a refund or future credit?
