Default Electrical Issues PLease help.

It started about 3mnths. ago on a trip to texas I noticed the Compass had quit working, i tried to re-calobrate it but i got nothing. then a week or so ago the "Control Center" ( or the picture of the car as my wife calls it) on the dash began to flash randomly. I have to admit that i am new to the bonneville and kinda intimadated by all the electronics, but I think if i could get poiinted in the right direction my trusted Volt-meter and I might be able to acomplish something. I almost forgot the car is a 1998 ssei.

Use the procedure in Techinfo to remove the cluster. Clean every contact, and if you're feeling bold, carefully disassemble the panel layer by layer, cleaning each connection as you go. This will likely solve your problem.
