well thats about as easy of a fix as ive had in a long time the ac compressor was missing when i got this car, the one i put on doesnt fit the bracket or the lines correctly so i never plugged in the wires for the ac lines or the back of the compressor, i plugged in the wires for the switch in the line and the fans quit, i cycled car ....got it hot and fans turned on and shut themselves off , thank you very much, sometimes the quick fix like i did when i put that compressor on wasnt so quick after all, again thanks for your insight

been driving it since last october with fans unplugged, had forgotten about the compressor
