Just bought a 1995 sse with a few problems, right now the main one is that i can’t un-arm the security alarm. Unless i pull the fuse that also runs the power antenna and electric door locks, it goes off every time you try to open the door, horn, lights, the whole works. i don’t have the keyless remote. the car has had front end damage, and maybe roof too. Both have been repainted and the a/c coil has damage. All doors still have original paint. Any idea? i would be fine with pulling any wire or box that controls the alarm system so we can get the antenna and door locks to work, thank Joe... btw, i bought it for my daughter to commute to college,, had to think hard about not keeping it for myself! What a ride! Im trying to talk my wife into trading our 95 transport for a mid-late 90'* Bonneville. Our family has been driving Pontiacs since my grandfather traded in his Hudson.

also the traction control and anti-lock brake ligts are on, the cruse control does not work

When the fuse is in and the alarm is going off. Put the key in the ignition and turn the car on. IME this should turn it off.

Although it sounds like your problem might be deeper.

south central wisconsin, we tried that and we tried it again. i thought i was doing so well after finding the third fuse block and getting the antenna to go up and the locks to work, till the car scared the crap out of my daughter with the horn a honkin and the lights a flashing!

hitting 'unlock' changes 'security' light from 'flashing' to 'on' but does not lock the doors, it will unlock all doors. seems like no matter what the alarm get armed.

i may try replacing the unlock relay that appears to be under the glove box.
