I noticed yesturday that it is alway reading due south or south west even when im heading north, i think its from my subwoofer and amplifier..Can i somehow insulate the compas module in the trunk? or can i re-locate it to a better spot..if so, were too?

Move it as far from the sub as possible. Tape it up, recalibrate. If it'* still off, relocate again, and try again. When you get it where it works, fasten it more permanently.
