Default Compas problems

I noticed yesturday that it is alway reading due south or south west even when im heading north, i think its from my subwoofer and amplifier..Can i somehow insulate the compas module in the trunk? or can i re-locate it to a better spot..if so, were too?

sounds easy all i have to do is move it to the right so its centerd? My sub is right under it, and my amp is close by..see pic..

Move it as far from the sub as possible. Tape it up, recalibrate. If it'* still off, relocate again, and try again. When you get it where it works, fasten it more permanently.

That'* what'* holding the compass in my 91... lol.... good old duct tape... hehe
(I've got 3 10in subs in my 91.... I was always going NE until I moved the compass)
