my hud didn't work at all til one night I was sliding the dimmer up and down and it came for a split second. I took the dimmer asembley out of the car and took it apart ,where the slider bar makes contact to the metal strips was loose/wore out I took a small screwdriver and bent the metal strips up and now it works.
