Bonne will crank but won't start
Some codes are programmed to be one cycle only codes and disappear when you restart. Others are stored etc. If you felt you had false codes..they would you be suspecting the pcm?

I installed a new PCM about two weeks ago. All of the old gremlins were still showing up. I held on to the old PCM and plan to put it back in this evening. It could be the culprit. I'm juggling a lot of balls right now. Just started summer classes yesterday. Carrying a full load and afraid to miss a beat. Trying to get back into the workforce by Spring of next year. The Company that I worked for the last 13 years went bottom up. The timing couldn't be worse for a breakdown. I'm going to swap the PCM now and if that doesn't get it I'll have to put it on hold till the weekend.

No, that was next on the list but last night I was about to put the old PCM back in but I didn't have a torx bit in the car to pull the prom cover and it started raining so I just called it a night. I just swapped the old PCM, twice. That was the problem. She started right up both times. Thanks for the input guys. Your suggestions were right on the money as usual. The other issues are going to have to wait at least till the weekend but at least I can ride again and the wife won't have to play cabbie.

Yep, back in the saddle again. Took the bad PCM back to NAPA for a swap. The one thats in there now was installed in 02 so it won't hurt to have a back up. Thanks again for your help.
