Use polishing compound if you have scratches. Either with a buffer or by hand.

Follow the LG instructions on the can. There is a specific manner of application you need to follow (directional). I don't think you've read the whole topic, yes, it is very much like wipe on/wipe off. It comes off with a fraction of the effort a normal wax would require.

I picked up this from www.autogeek.net

64oz. Meguiars Mirror Glaze #21 Synthetic Sealant 2.0

After some buffing with Menzerna then a coat of that, the finish is absolutely ridiculous!!! I don't have any pics, but JayGXP should have some up soon The slickness, shine, and depth is just awesome

I'm sure that the Meg'* is good stuff but I would attribute that shine to the Menz.

Oh yeah, the shine was brought out by the Menz, but the Megs enhanced the shine like crazy. The fleck in the paint just pops now

Yeah, I know what you mean. I didn't realize my black was that metallic until I polished it.

As it'* been hinted at a few times here... A wax or sealant means NOTHING without proper surface prep.

Wax Stripping Wash
Clay Bar
Paint fixing (rough compounds)
Polishing
Wax/Sealant.

Your wax/sealant will last much longer on a well prepped surface as well.

I've used Meg'* Synthetic Sealant with GREAT results. It lasted 6 months, well into winter.

What do I do with paint chips? I have sevaral spots where its chipped off on the lip of the hood and a couple spots on the doors.

Do I use compound, fix my paint, lightly sand it, more compound, then wash and seal?
