I dont know if anyone is interested but it was at a Nissan dealer in Oakville. which is just outside Toronto,

$24.99 for a one pint can (473 mil) for us Canadians. im sure i could have found it online for a bit cheaper but this way i drove out and picked it up same day
15 min drive for me.

Yeah I have that too. It works good, but doesn't last long. I've read there are others that last longer. I've got a sample of some stuff I'm going to try pretty soon. Forever Black is like a dye that seems to be the only thing that really is long term though. Most only last from a week to a month, or less if it rains.

Found what?

If you're talking about LG, most of the WCBF addicts buy it down here when they're in the States for a meet. That can (if it'* LG you're talking about) will last you at least 2 years on a single car. Mine lasts that long for TWO cars with the occasional friend'* car thrown in.

All this talk about Liquid Glass made me go out and buy some :P

Nearly $22 at autozone, this stuff better work!!

Plans are to rub the whole car down in polishing compound, wash with dish detergent, dry, and apply LG. Wait a day, apply another coat of LG, one more day, one more coat of LG.

That sound like a good plan? I don't think my car has seen the business end of a buffer in many years....

That'* my exact recipe. It got thwarted by rain. :(

2 more coats to go when I get the chance. May just have to garage it to get it done.

Exact recipe? Sweet... I think I'm going to try to get the first coat on tomorrow. I'm going to try to convince my g/f to help me with the compound/wash part so that it'll hopefully go faster.

Hmm.... I need to do before and after shots...

Im a noob to car care but would it still work to use say sratch x or something like that before you use Liquid glass? Ive seen alot of the cars that have been cleaned here and they all look really good. Would LG cover up little sratches or no?

Scratch-X is nothing but polishing compound, which is what I used on mine.

Use any polishing compound you like, or simply wash and LG and see if you get the effect you want. Like any wax or sealer, it will hide SMALL scratches in the clear.

Ok thanks! So with LG all you really do is just wash your car and do what ever to it before the LG? Then how does the LG apply just wipe on let sit and wipe off?
