Steve...we all got the same tips.. there'* metal under that black...

Polisher/Buffer...take your pic eh. Good luck on them holding up. I swapped to stainless steel and love being able to simply wipe out the carbon that boosting leaves behind.

I don't think the clear coat will last very long.
That'* what I like about the tips being aluminum. You can simply sand and polish them back to new any time unlike chrome which will pit and tarnish over time.

Let us know how the clear coat holds up Matt.
