Once I cut the letters in with paint and mounted the LED'* properly all is well. The pic above suffers from a few things, one is my cheap camera and the other is the led'* were bascially touching
The LED'* have a 70 degree viewing angle and are square based in nature to disperse the light.
Aiming for more pictures tonight.
Also wondering if anyone is interested in one. I plan on attempting another one by removing the plastic differently to get a cleaner look.

I took them. wasn't happy about the way I removed the black and like mentioned above, I want to try another method of removing it. They'll get out here soon enough.

Sunday I sealed the top of the light back together with JB Weld..(love that stuff)
Sanded it down, double checked it and sealed with silicone as well on the in and outside. (last thing I want is a leak.)
Last night I sealed the bottom and wired it up and tested it on the lamp monitor. Didn't complain.....(crosses fingers and says "yet")
Need to sand the bottom down and double check it. Then bring the brake light wire onto the trunk lid and put it on...
Awaiting VHT...

Ok..got it on the car and here'* the pics leading up to it.
Pat said I'd get mistaken for a Sunfire....call me a Sunfire Wannabe if you'd like..I like the look.
Dremelled the plastic off the back with a wheel

The light and LED board

Running lights only on bench

Brake lights on bench (tail is not resealed at this point)

Resealed one side with JB Weld

Other side

My extra wire for brake lights

WOOOT...it'* on the car w/running lights... I'm standing too close and too high

And with brakes on....still too close and flash doesn't help

All in all it'* a good prototype and gave me ideas how to do it better.
