come on venom, this isnt about what you like.
??????He ask for options for chroming out ....Aluminum guttering is cheap rice that doesnt last. A stone will fubar it and the anodizing wont last long. If your going to take the time and effort to do something, do it with quality products that will last.
Hmmm you make an interesting arguement my friend, what do YOU suggest?

Glad You see my point Man, it'* a Bonneville, a luxury sports Sedan. Several here and others elsewhere have used the newer Chrome colored spray paint and it'* looks good and easy to apply, but not sure of the durability. Maybe someone who has done it can chime in. Shouldnt be hard to lightly sand and touch up anyway. As well the OEM stock plastic pieces can be taken out and nickel struck (yes they can do that to plastic), then chrome plated. That is what my plan was But,..... Even though the GXP grilles are a bit different, I'm really liking Gumballs grille. Alot. Very old school, professional looking, and Aggressive with a capital A. He'll tell you how. ( After a couple beers he'd give away the Bush Beans Family Secret ) If you like the look of the crosshatch mesh at least get material like looong'* so it will last. And there are several pattern choices. Every time I see the "gutter" pattern all I can think of is the rice body kits that all have it...... And I like to be different. Urethane adhesive isnt meant to take off and it'* gonna be a big mess when the guttering gives in to stones and chips. And it does. The body shop where most my stuff was done is always redoing body kit mesh and it'* a big pain in the ***. And pay close attention to the dollar signs in ***. Your riding on Gioavannis man dont put your Bonnie in the gutter. BTW I'm loving your Car. Gonna hit the Show Ciruit???

To me and I not saying my ideas are always best, but to me guttering wont do well in a Show. And Shows are my cars life. It might impress my friends but not judges,... their gonna say,... Wow dude guttered his grille. If ya decide to paint it remember prep and clean are half the job. A plastic safe primer would be the bonus plan.

Yeah, if you decide to go paint, take lots of time to mask it off well too. It is still a fair amount of work.
