mine did that too last winter, shoulda gotten pics..
but i think everyone had enough with my evil hood snow clown :P
Oh Lawdy, not that pic again..
I painted my grille, and got a few others to follow me. I had a gutter guard very similar to pats down below as I found a bird down there by the rad once and wanted some protection, but eventually got rid of it for the time being.
I still haven't found a pattern I truely like, and I want a matching scheme top and bottom.

What you want is one of two different products....ChromeFX or MirraChrome. Both are made by ALSA Corporation in CA. ChromeFX is more expensive and requires special tools. MirraChrome DOESN'T REQUIRE SPECIAL TOOLS and is quite reasonable. These guys are masters of special paints and coatings.... www.alsacorp.com

I had the same thing down there Venom, shaped a little more (similar to a GP grill). It'* the only solution that works well, as you'll need to shape it 3 dimensionally, and most of the heavier stuff wont be easy over that span. The stuff on the back of say a Ferrari is thinner, albeit not up front either.
Mine stayed silver for a whole year before it went away for body work. My hood had more damage then it did after a year. It got plenty of work in winter here.
