Default Iced Over

I went outside this morning before school and my car was completely iced over. I had a little bit of time and thought it looked cool, so I took a few pics.

Actually, belive it or not they werent horrible, a couple bad ice patches but not too bad. Then again, I only have a 2 mile drive to school, so I didnt see the country roads, they were probably pretty bad.

SO how do you get the car out from under that? Wussy button with heater on ahead of time?

I let it run for a couple minutes with the heater on full blast, then I took a bucket of hot water and poured it on the windows to get some of the ice to melt. It wasnt really all that cold out this morning, but all that ice had frozen on overnight. Once I got the car warmed up most of the ice came off pretty easily.

Wow you poured hot water on the windows??!! I have heard of people doing that and their windows shattering, they were actually telling people on the news not to do that during our last ice storm. Guess you lucked out.
