Search on Gumball, he did a custom grill. May give you some ideas.

Mine is not chrome but it is the horizontal bars like the billet style.
you can do a search on ebay for "grill material"

moved to detail and apearance.

you can also cut your factory grille and insert some Home Depot gutter guard

here is an example

(your grille is different but here is what i did with a 92-95 grille....yours will be similar)

Lots of people paint theirs silver too. It'* by no means chrome, but it'* kind of the same effect.

That is EXACTLY what i want to do, thanks for sharing tha info man..how do you stick on the gutter guard tho, some kind of adhesive?

there are some places in the bumper you can hold the guttergard on with some clips


and as for the grille you want to use a adhesive that allowes the mesh to flex...if you dont it will break the bond and will be worthless
