Default Been a while

So its been awhile since ive been on. Since ive been on, ive sold my '96 Bonne SE to my bro for $1000 [had 220,000 mi on it, ran great. he had it for a month and tranny got killed] and bought myself a '04 Bonne SE. decided to stay within the family [though a Mitsu Galant came close to ruining that]. So now that ive got myself an awesome new vehicle with the same old engine that i love, i feel the need to do something which makes it mine. Of the ideas i see, id most like to white out the turn signals and swap out the rear lights. That said, ive two questions. How feasible is it to tint the headlights (countering the reduced visibility with super-whites) and how much do the '05 taillights run, now? A roadside cone hit my car (care-of the semi travelling in front of me) on the front passenger side, so ill have to replace that light anyway. figure i can tinker with it and see what my options are before screwing up my wonderful new car.

Good contribution there, sport.

L67 swap is in order. I think tinting the headlights could be a bit dangerous...

so i spent the day surfing, in leiu of working. im without a car, so i chose to spend the day at home. heres what i found out. i can get a new headlight between $80 (ebay) to $270 (dealer). gxp tail end can be done for $325 (car-part.com) to $750 (dealer). thoughts? clearing out tail end is completely out of the question for me, though i think i might like that better. or not, cuz it looks kinda bare. but i cant clear it, cuz ive no dremel tool and no desire to screw up my pretty new car. headlights i think i can handle. suggestions on how i can make 2 new headlights more affordable? also, i have to replace my rear-view mirror (it fell off while i was accelerating into a bump. whoops). its under warranty, but since i have to replace it, is there any sort of upgrade i can do? yes its just a rearview, but ever little bit, right?

so after a conversation with my gf and some ps'ing, were in agreement. i need to clear only the yellow out of the tails (not ever having used a dremel or anything before, that promises to be fun) and from the headlights. that said, i still need a new headlight. hate to ask without having given first, but i called every salvage yard in the yellowbook today and only found one passenger side headlight for my 04 se, and that one had been buffed. mines going to be buffed (if it comes out) and im concerned that if the problem does buff out, its going to screw up the clear-coat or something. so id need a replacement, but what good to replace it with one thats been buffed too? if anyones looking for an activity, id be in your debt if someone could locate one for me that was cheaper than 100, if at all possible. i hate ordering things online, so im hesitant to use ebay.
