How hard would it be to put in the trim prieces from a 2004 GXP (polished handles, carbon fiber accents) in a 2000 SSEi? I do not want the white guages though. How hard would it be to put in the chrome handles at least?

They should be a direct replacement, not sure all the pieces are a direct fit but the door handles should swap over.

Agreed...should be a simple task of taking apart and reassembling.

Door handle removal:
1. Remove door panel
2. Remove door panel control module
3. Remove Water Deflector
4. Remove single bolt at the top rear corner of door handle assembly
5. Snap lock/handle rods out of clip
6. Slide Handle Assy forward to release retainer tabs
7. Tilt handle assembly and romove the rods from the handle


The Carbon Fiber trim rings around the vents will just snap in and out easily

Do you know where theres a wiped out gxp at a yard or are you thinking of ordering the trim pieces new?

I was just curious be cause to me, at least in the pictures, the GXP interior looked much nicer than the black SSEi int. I am thinking of just going ahead and getting a GXP though.
