Question noisy sound from EGR - air in take? (with Video)

Hello together,

i contacted you from germany, because we dont have any support here in Germany for Chevrolet any more. Chevrolet stopped selling cars and parts a longer time ago. Sometimes you can get at GM (Opel in Germany, Vauxhall in den UK) Parts and technical support, but most of the time you are on your own if you have a problem.
So i hope that a mechanic has an idea about my problem.
A few week ago the Car started to do some air noise. It gets louder now and is noisy whistling. Coming up from the EGR beside the engine.
i tried to clean the EGR first, but it doesn´t work. So i ordered a new one. Today it arrived and after building it in the problem is still there!
When i pull up the EGR you can hear that air is suck in at this EGR.
i tried:
- deconnect the eletrical plug at the EGR. still whistling
- Open the air in at the throttle valve. still whistling
- read the OBD II, says no errors!
Any ideas what may here wrong?
Here is the video:
Thank you and best season greetings from Germany
Bernd

Does removing the oil fill cap while running affect the noise or how the car is running at all?

Sounds like the EGR valve itself has an internal leak.
