Default 96 camaro runs for 15 mins then dies

hey guys. i have a friend with a very weird problem im trying to help her get to the bottom of. from what she has told me, her car (v6) will run for 15 mins, then just stall, nomatter what the conditions. the kicker is that it will not fire again untill she has had it sitting for over a half hr or so. i was thinking possibly an alarm, but i dont think that would explain the waiting 30 mins problem. any help is greatly appreciated, thanks alot.

I've heard of the ICM'* taking a dump when they get warm causing the engine to die. Then they work fine after they cool off.

It'* supposed to throw a code (P0336), but it doesn't always. When mine was on the fritz, I'd get a check engine light about half the time it stalled.

My crank sensor has failed twice, and did not set a code either time.

well, i just looked at the car, and i ran it till it died and had her crank it up and it sorta half *** ran for a few seconds then died again. at which point i pulled a wire and put my finger on a coil terminal fully expecting to be zapped. nothing happened. so im assuming that was the problem and ill be going to the jy tomorrow
