i had never heard of that. im sure its like all the other 305/307, no fun. i had a 305 for my 3rd engine first two where 2.8'* i got a good deal on 305 with a 700r4. it wasnt any faster than the 2.8 and i had a dd neon sxt 5spd., it was 2 tenths faster in the eighth than my hobby car, something seriously wrong with that. so i got a crate engine like apples and oranges feels like a muscle car now.

It seems here at least that older engines like chev 305, 250 etc and ford 302 351 etc can be had in running condition for 300-500$
You can get nice engines for 1000-2000$.
