Glad you found out the correct color before buying any paint, maybe that was a custom paint choice for your car, I think the dark cherry looks so much better than the medium garnet red, which is kind of why I had my PA repainted to a deepened candy apple red with metallic flakes.

Good thinking to find pics of the cars painted those colors rjolly!

The bottom pic was slightly over exposed, so the color is slightly darker in actuality, but not much.

Can you post a pic of the car, I think that will help us a lot.

Wow, I just checked, and they did offer tthat color for 94. I am curious what the build date is, I wonder if it is a very late 93 build. I would order it off the 94 palette, because it looks a little lighter than what I postedd, but that could also be other things as well

That definitely is not the medium garnet red, I really like that color though.
