Knock sensor code and now no start, pcm fried ?

Well gee wiz, i pulled the tail panel out and found a grounded out bulb wire that was wound up around one of the screw posts making contact with the body metal. LOL ! What a cluster. Strange though with the initial knock sensor code and no voltage, fuel pump fuse and tail light fuses popping. Thats why i had though the pcm was fried because of the metal from my air filter shield cutting into the pcm harness. Oh well, got a spare pcm now, lol.

The fuel pump is tied into the pass key system that the BCM controls
best thing to do get a wiring chart
unwrap the wires that got chafed
disconnect the ECM and trace 1 wire at a time
from the pin number from the ECM to the other end
that it shows on the chart
with a meter it should be 000 on each wire
when both ends are disconnected
you have a short to ground and or a open circuit
a shop will charge about 100 a hour or more on wiring with no
end in sight
