Default how to de-pin 94 regal turn switch connector?

Hi, we need to change the turn signal switch on my sons 1994 Buick Regal and it looks like we need to de-pin the electrical connector in order to get the wired down through the column. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The connector mounts to a block with other connectors and we got it loose from that block. There was also a white plastic retainer inside the connector and we got that out also. Now we just need to find out to remove the actual pins.

Thanks
Anna

This is the connector. sorry for the bad pics..

okay, never mind.. I found I could just bend the connector sideways and work it up through the column. I have a 88 van and you have to unpin the connector to get the wires through the column

Sorry I'm late to the party. Glad you got it figured out. Sounds like you figured it out the same way a lot of the rest of us did.

We learned something else useful though. The spare parts car we have had the radio controls on the steering wheel on each side of the air bag. RA lists two separate turn signal switches but you can use either one if your car does not have the radio controls. The only difference is that the turn signal switch with the radio controls has a extra pigtail that is not used.
Also interesting was that the radio controls bolt on to the underside of the air bag metal bracket and so could also be taken off and added to a steering wheel without radio controls.,

Thanks
Anna

That'* cool. GM is usually good at production efficiency that way. They actually used the same steering wheel on the LeSabre, Riviera, Park Avenue, and Roadmaster for many years.
