I agree, I think the Dex 6 seriously cleaned it and now I have some seal or valve leaking... new forward servo is supposed to deliver today, we'll see if that helps.

Forward servo came in so I took the oem one out and was surprised to see virtually no wear on it. The piston bore was clean with no wear marks, the piston looked good and the seal was soft and in great shape so I only install the new acdelco servo springs and put it back together.
Now I'm off to the next thing. I found a good used valve body and secondary pump in a local salvage yard with 56,000 miles which was rearended. I ordered all the Sonnex updates for the VB and I'm going to go through it thoroughly before putting it in the car. I also ordered a new secondary pump shaft and seal as the pump shafts splines seem to wear out on these. Along with all new VB gaskets...
I'll try that next and see what happens.
I'm going to figure this out one way or another.... even if it means a total rebuild which I'm saving for last.

Yeah, I'll figure it out eventually. The new pump shaft and seal came in today... VB and gaskets should be here early next week.
The car I got the VB out of was a running driving car that had been rearended. It only had like 56k on it. The salvage yard was using the car to run around the yard collecting parts and stuff. Guy took me for a ride in it down the road, it shifted out fine. So I know it'* a good VB.
We'll see what happens.

one final update on this post.
The car is fixed.... I found two problems once I tore it down... 1-2 shift valve in VB was worn causing it to stick... So it needed that fixed.
Tore it down a little (I didn't really want to go to far into it with the mileage that it has on it...afraid of what I may find.) so I did an air test. it failed pretty miserably so I decided to just throw a used tranny in it from a scrap yard.
I found one out of an 04 that had been "T-Boned" and rolled over... Odometer showed 76,300 miles on it so I snatched it up for $300. This one works good.
I figure the car isnt worth much with all the miles on it so this was the cheaper alternative. big job and I'm glad its over with....
Wife is happy so I am again happy. (A happy wife is a happy life)

That trans is a score for 300$. oh & Good work!
I a happy that you both are happy.
Reliability has just been restored by the sounds of it.

Knowing what you know now, do you plan to use dex 6 on this transmission? It'* sounding like the junk broken loose before is what was holding your transmission together
