I have a 96' PA and I had a misfire in 3, and I thought it was a coil pack, till I replaced the coil pack, and it ran fine for a day maybe, then I turned my AC on while idling and I got the misfire again, then my car died.
Come to find out the tip of my MAF Sensor had come off because the 2 little dots that hold it in place somehow were worn down, so on occasion the tip would restrict the air hitting the MAF, so it would burn too rich I think, and eventually it spun sideways and stayed like that, the car would not start till I glued the tip back in place, I am not sure the tip is actually needed to be honest, I had the same reading on my scan tool with it off, and on.

I know you seem to have a low compression problem in cylinder 3, so maybe this won't be of any help, I just thought I'd mention it though, because if it can happen to me, it cold happen to somebody else.

Tip: When cleaning your MAF Sensors Thermistors, take that tip off & use some carb cleaner on a Q-Tip, just be careful to not get the carb cleaner all over the plastic, and be sure the tip pops back on firmly, if not super glue, or epoxy it back to the MAF Sensor, you do NOT want that tip to be able to spin!
The carb cleaner will remove way more gunk than the MAF Sensor cleaner, I learned this tip from a knowledgeable friend on another forum, and when I cleaned mine sure enough I had some carbon on the Q Tip, this was just after cleaning the MAF.

Anyway, hopefully you got good news on Cly 3, hopefully it is not to hard or pricey of a fix!
