Default 1995 buick riveria cd player

My cd player stopped working, raido works so does tape player, is there a reset button?

No. GM radio'* tend to fail after awhile. Especially the CD players. My 97 has its quirks too.

Now is a good time to upgrade to a decent deck.

I agree....now is the time to upgrade to a non GM radio......there is so much out there......satellite radio....various external inputs like SD , USB, auxilliary, and IPhone/Android......equalizers with presets......remote control .....Pandora......Bluetooth.....MP3, WMA, WAV.....steering wheel control adapters for radios(most Riv'* have these controls).....

Crutchfield is a good place to start....
