Default Cassette player(stock) to CD player

So has anyone actually done this or know anyone who has? And what is the best way to do it to keep the display looking nice, keeping the steering controls operable, and is the easiest to install. Also keeping it at a decent, not so extreme, price.

I was thinking about doing the same thing. i was getting ready to post a message before i read this. I was looking on ebay and i think that i'll be getting a cheap one off of there. i don't know how to make the steering controls work either, or making it fit and look good. i could use ideas also. LOL

Some kenwood , Rockford Fosgate and Sony receivers have red buttons to match the rest of the interior and they sell modules to control the radio with the factory steering whell controls !

I pulled a factory cd player I think from a 94--I should've grabbed the plug for the steering wheel controls because mine won't work w/it--but it looks good and plus it'* a factory radio! Plus it plugged right in.
