Default Stereo suggestions...

Hello all...
Looking for any and all suggestions for audio systems with navigation that will work in the '05 SE Bonne. Can't put OnStar in so I figured a navigation system would be good for my better half.
Also, my stock system sound like it has a couple of blown speakers has anybody had any issues with theirs as well? Thanks for all the help!

Mac

Any reason for navigation? I think for most people, it'* a bit overkill, if you're always going into weird places in your area, or out of it for that matter then you could use it.

It'* probably cheaper to get a standalone Navi, and a seperate Head unit, then you'll also have something that can probably be updated easier, be more focused, and have more features.

Then again a flip out display is pretty slick..

EDIT: and if you have a standalone one, that say mounts on the windshield you can take it between cars.

Nope...no particular reaso for a flip cept like you said it is pretty cool!! The main reason is to help my wife...she is a bit directionally challenged...that'* ok she knows it!

How about just a new stereo suggestion and what about the stock speakers...are they worth keeping cause it sure don't sound like it to me. It sounds like the stereo is way to much for the speakers!!

You will more than likely need a harness that will let you retain the factory chimes and OnStar if you have it, if you are going to upgrade the stereo. I needed one for the Monte Carlo I had, was 100 bux when I bought it...now you can find them much cheaper.
