As far as the fuse breaker is concerned, sometimes **** just happens, Everything wont always work as its supposed to. This is one reason to always buy the better, sometimes more expensive brands because their standards are more exact, and in some instances if a fuse or a circuit breaker is too cheap, then it may fail entirely. Well i take that back, ive also heard from someone that gets around in the car audio world that circuit breakers are known to not flip off when they are supposed to.

that is a show car. its not exposed to the virbrations, dampness, sand/salt like our daily drivers are.
either way, im not going to get you to change your choice of fuse, so this is me voicing my opinion

I have a 97 bonneville and I ran my wire a different way trhough the firewall. I had to mod the wireing harness a bit for the wire to fit, but it works. I had to remove the rubber seal, though. I'm going to douse (dous?) it in silicon tomorrow.
