power wire, amp install part one with pics - Page 2 - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

yes its 2 gague into the Cap, then 4 gague to the amps

I ran it all under the trim panels. it is really easy to get it into the trunk. everything is hidden in the trunk. Im all about the stealth install

that point is connected to the battery with 8AWG wire, so it is totally fine if you want to run 8-12AWG from there. it is absolutely not safe to run a thicker wire from there

also, i dont see an in-line fuse holder on your power wire. that is a huge no-no

I ran everything besides the power today!
i went into circuit city and my manager is letting me use the shop to run my power wire... it was getting a little chilly outside. and afterall i do work in that department so i might as well take advantage of it.

but my rca'* and remote are ran.

thanks for the pics none the less!
