Default New head unit

Im going to be buying a new head unit tomorrow at Curcuit City and I think I am going to go with the Pioneer DEH4600MP. Does anyone know anything about this unit? I have heard excellent things about it but I just want your opinion. How well will it handle a STOCK 8 speaker system. How well will my speakers sound compared to the stock Delco tape unit? Thanks in advance!

All Pioneer head units [Premier too, but exclude the base model one {the two cheapest models}] are awesome. The system will come to life, although I have no actual experience with this, I do know factory audio systems are nothing like aftermarket units. I can tell you, you will not be dissapointed!

expect your power to increase by 50-75%, considering a stock unit is like 5watts rms, and the one you are looking at is prolly 23watts rms and 50 max....that alone tells you how much better sounding its gonna be. you might want to replace your speakers in the long run, but you will hear a difference when you put it in.

want more power?? try this

if its in ur budget, go with one of the higher level models with the oel display, so you can impress your ears and eyes!
