Default Return to stock, or new aftermarket head unit?

I'll be getting rid of my current subs, amps, and head unit in favor of running a different HU with regular cabin speakers. I currently do not have my original factory HU, so I'm facing a decision. Should I buy a stock 7-band factory HU off Ebay, or should I spend a little more and get an aftermarket HU? If your choice is to go aftermarket, please give me a suggestion for a quality HU priced at $150 or less. MP3/WMA ability is not required, but would be a nice bonus.

Thanks!

Good suggestions, guys. I was just at Best Buy and another local stereo store checking out some different models, and there are some fairly decent choices out there for <$150. I'm currently liking the looks of a few different Pioneer models, in addition to a couple Alpines and a Sony or two.

Anything I should absolutely stay away from?

and JVC, and Dual

this is a good price, unless you want features, and not sound quality
