What'* the redlight on the G-Tech cord? Is that a new shift light setup for them?

No, the RR model came like that. It'* a push-button power switch built into the adapter. I'll be bypassing that cord entirely in favor of my old hard-wired setup that is switched on the center console behind the seat controls.

He got it originally from www.humount.com
The text is backlit with the dash lights on, and the mount is a true 'flush' design. The HU is installed BEFORE the black trim plate, negating the need for my JVC trim ring. The HU is sitting at least a quarter inch farther back than with the first install (previous pics in this topic).

Everything is looking awesome and i have basically have the newer version of that deck. i was always on the fence about the review camera. I think now I might purchase one on ebay or just wait for you to install yours and then give us some feedback.

Actually, I have a newer one than yours. The AVX2 was released about a month before the AVX11 that I have. But not by much. Mine is a fairly recent release. They're basically the same 'family' and generation HU'*.

Got any pics of your install handy? Or can you pull the dash trim bezel for a couple pics?
