Need some advice on aftermarket security - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Default Need some advice on aftermarket security

I have the universal secuirty option on my car. I was wondering if i got a Prestige APS996 system if that would work against my factory alarm, or it would work with it. I know i need a box to bypass the Pass Key system. I want something that works really well. I can get the security system for 150 bucks so i think its a good deal.
