Default I need some advice about Transmission coolers

I drive about 200 miles a day and some of that is over very steep hills. Is there a transmission cooler that you would recommend for me to install?

Also, how hard are they to install?

Last thing is how much do they usually cost?

Thanks in advance,

Yes, No, and 30 bucks.

Ok, yes a tranny cooler would benefit you especially. I personally think everyone should have one. Not hard to put in at all. Just follow the intstructions in the package. 30 bucks should do it. In this pic, you can sortof see what basic size you're looking for. I'm running 2, the new one in front of the stock cooler:

Not bad for a 93, huh? It was like that when I bought it last year. I've just kept it clean. I modified the SC cover myself. Breathes a bit better. There a post in performance about it somewhere. That made the biggest looks change out of anything I did. I painted the STB red in anticipation of the first Series 1 ADTR intake, since it'* powdercoated ADTR red.

The trans cooler advice applies to the 92-96 SSE and SSEi that already have one in that location. Mine are stacked. New in front of Stock. They also have the added benefit of precooling the trans fluid before it enters the radiator. Tends to keep the coolant at a more manageable temp, too. Not just the trans.
