Default My new head unit

Sorry for the crappy pics, but while I was putting my new 6x9s last weekend I threw this in the dash. Just a cheap VR3 job from Walmart (Bandit I swear I don't know anyhting about that hole in your dash where your radio used to be ) But I like the features it has and it sounds good enough for me. My factory radio'* cd player stopped working a year ago, nice to have that feature back, although with the option of plugging in a flash drive or SD I'll hardly ever use it.

(calls Bandit to report the theft)

Looking good Jack...I was surprised when Bandit mentioned it was a Wally special.

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with it and my speakers. I left it out a bit from the dash so I can just slide it back out instead of taking apart the panels again when I wire in my sub this weekend. Then I set her in nice and tight.

I am going to get one of those for my Bonne once it'* running. I did some extensive testing in the store for compatibility with drives, cards, etc. It reads better from the USB than it does from the SD card slot (I used an SD card with the USB card reader so the format for both was the same). It also can read from my Zen IF I use it as a removable drive and not an MP3 player (but only up to 2 GB). For the money, it'* a great player, looks pretty good at night too.

I looked at getting that one, but decided to spring the extra $20 and get the Pioneer, mainly b/c I'd never heard of that brand. My h/u looks stupid at night b/c all the lights are green as opposed to stock orange. lol
