Would it tbe possible to put say a 7 inch LCD screen in the section of dash right over the glove box? Is there anyhting behind there?
The keyless entry module lives behind there and is stuffed between the dash and the whole heater/air box thing. There'* only about 2" between the dash and box. There'* also metal structures around the whole glovebox.
My suggestion, a standard motorized 7" in-dash head unit. It would be like a bad episode of Monster Garage otherwise.

You don't have enough room, the air ducts are in the way.. sorry dude. unless it can sit flush against the back of the dash, then it won't work [and that would look like crap btw]. Randy'* idea of the flip up in dash monitor would be cooler. just the LCD would get in the way of the climate control when up.. but other than that, that would look awesome.

Im asking cuz I can get a screen like this for 300 bucks canadian, and a dvd HU for 300 as well. These are seperates not in-dash together. Where else would I be able to put a stand alone screen?
That'* not going to be easy in your car. If you flush mounted that above the glovebox, it and your window would be gone the first time you run into the 7/11 for a Gatorade. Try to grab a flip-down like GAMEOVER'*.
I don't know anything about your stereo setup but why can't you get a indash unit like mine? something about air ducts behind it or something? if a aftermarket deck will fit, so should a in dash 6.5-7in screen.
