..And I don't think I blew em. Just a horrible sounds and it becomes higher pitched with the rpm'*. I'm think bad connection? The speakers went even used until I got the car. They are the stocker'* in the rear that are making the noise....


Anyone?

did you run your power wires and RCA wires on the same side of the car? if so...thats the problem...you are getting alternator noise

did you look at the wiring? maybe its aftermarket

I know it'* not aftermarket. The car used to be owned by my grandparents and thay never used the sound system. Plus, I have all orig. reciepts form all work that they, and I, have had done on it. Nothing is showing there has been aftermarket wires put in.

Clean your alternator and battery grounds. Whining (especialy with RPM) is generally associated with a feedback loop.

My similar whine went almost completely away when I made a better negative connection to my battery.
